Providing Equity in Technology Education
Throughout our class we have read many articles about the importance of providing a solid technological education to all children, but even within my district, the levels of technology available to children vary by school. How do you think your district compares to others around the valley and what are your thoughts about equity?

Difficult to answer, but overall, I believe the amount of investment in the future should be significantly increased by all societies. Four or five times more than what is currently invested. When we get to that point, the amount of inequity will become less of an issue.
The real perplexing issue for me on this subject is that I believe individual neighborhoods, school districts, whatever the governing body is, should be allowed to invest more in their schools. However when you do that, inequity starts to occur and round and round it goes. Probably not a good answer either way you look at it. But, bottom line, kick up the investment significantly, then see if this issue of equity is still as prevalent.
